Happy Valentine’s Day!

The children will have a Valentine’s Party Tuesday, February 14th. Teachers will be sending home a list of the children in the classrooms. If you are not scheduled for that day, and would like your child to come to the party, please let the office know by Wednesday Feb. 1st.

Board Members Needed!!

The Riverview Board of Directors meets once a month on the 3rd Thursday. Meetings are from 5:30 -6:00 or 6:30. If you are interested in being on the Board please contact Rosie. Everyone is welcome.

Fun in the Sun - Summer 2012!!!

Will your child be in daycare this summer? We will be having lots of fun! We’re looking foward to Field Trips to Twin Parks, Olson Park Zoo & Splash Pad and our end of summer trip to the Science Center of Des Moines. School agers will go to the pool twice a week and other rooms will have Water Days! And remember we offer transportation to any activities in Webster City that your child participates in (Dance, Tennis, Golf etc...) Hope to see you for Summer 2012!!

It’s COLD OUTSIDE

Please dress your child in warm clothes & coats. When the weather gets colder your child needs a coat, hat, gloves, snow pants and boots. Every room goes outside except the infants. They only go out for a short amount of time but they still will need winter gear. Also keep in mind that this is a big building and it takes time to warm up in the morning-please dress your child appropriately.

Walking Children to the Room

Parents, it is required that you walk your child to and from his/her classroom everyday. This is required by Riverview and DHS. It is also a safety issue

Please don’t block the drive

When picking up or dropping off your child please do not block the sidewalk. Those walking up to the door have to walk in the snow. Thank you for your understanding.

Riverview Assistance Fund

This Fund is for parents who experience some sort of hardship and need temporary help paying their childcare bill. If you would like more information about this fund, please contact the Riverview office.
